JUST UPDATED/RENOVATED 5/2024 The open floor plan and double patio doors puts the focus of the home on beautiful Jordan Lake. A private patio and dock also overlook that lake with an outdoor table, 4 chairs, glider/rocker, and fire pit all on the lake side. Enjoy sunrise or sunset by the fire listening to the waves splash against the seawall. Sip your morning coffee or tea while fishing from the dock and watch for heron and eagles fishing too. Two kayaks and life vests are provided for exploring the lake. Fully stocked cottage, right down to fishing poles and some tackle! Pontoon boat available for rent onsite. Inquire to have this added to your reservation.

Guest Access

You'll enjoy access to the whole house, except garage (for owner storage and under renovation to add a bedroom/bath). The yard is fenced between the home and the neighbors on one side, and open on the other, but is still completely for your enjoyment. Two patios, one attached to the house and one lakeside, a dock with lift for the pontoon and free space to tie off your own boat are yours as well.

We really enjoyed our stay. I highly recommend renting the pontoon, we spent a lot of time out swimming in the lake. Everything was clean and the cottage was fully stocked, beds were comfortable. Becca was very responsive. Great place to spend the week.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay! Becca was very responsive and helpful, making the experience even better. The house was comfortable, very clean, and well-stocked. The view from the family room was beautiful, and we spent most of our time enjoying it. Fishing from the dock was great, and having access to the pontoon was an extra bonus. We were fortunate to have excellent weather, allowing us to go out on the lake almost every day. There are only a couple of restaurants in town, so if you're staying for an extended period and enjoy dining out, keep that in mind. We found Buddy’s to be good and ate there a few times. Holland is about an hour away and is great for a day trip. Thank you, Becca, for a relaxing week!

We had an AMAZING stay at the “Cozy Red Door Cottage!” It’s just a beautiful ‘get away’ place on Jordan Lake in Lake Odessa, MI. I highly recommend it to anyone who wants to just sit back and enjoy the lake life. I would give it 5 stars and then some!!!!

Becca is an outstanding host. We loved the house and especially the ample room for our family to be together when cooking and playing games. All items are well provided. Another appreciated item is the ample kitchen/bath cabinets and bedroom closet space for us to unpack clothes and food items, and feel settled in to enjoy our time. These are just a few of the many items that made our stay enjoyable and we look very forward to visiting again

Becca's Cozy Red Door Cottage is exactly that! A cozy cottage right on Jackson Lake! Maybe we just lucked out, even though the Boat Lift hadnt been dropped into the lake yet(no fault of Becca's as the company was running behind this season and most of the Lakes's lifts were still elevated) the view whether from inside the Living Room, sitting on the back deck or on the Bench on the dock were perfect and relaxing. The cottage had everything we needed for over a week long stay! We had to arrive early, extend our trip a day and leave two hours later than check out time and Becca was Amenable to it all! As fellow Hosts,we really appreciated being guests at a property where the host was as responsive, and willing when able to help us. Can't wait to stay here again! Thanks Becca and Fam

Our stay at the cottage was perfect. It felt like home as soon as we walked in. It was clean, fully stocked, comfortable, and just what we were looking for. The remodeled 2bd bed/bath was a surprise and we loved it. We have an anxious pup and she was more relaxed at the cottage than our own home! Neighbors were friendly and quiet. Lake was easy to get into for swimming. Just a minute or two to grocery store and restaurants. Becca was very responsive to our questions. Definitely recommend and hope to be back again!

This cozy cottage is so cute! It smelled clean and new upon arrival and the updated reno was such a surprise! The neighbors were nice and friendly and the whole community was equally inviting. The cottage was also very well stocked, Becca thought of everything! The location was prime. Close to the playground and ice cream. As well as shopping and Buddies on the beach restaurant. Would definitely love to revisit!
